Russian Defense Minister: The Ukrainian army lost more than 26,000 people and more than 3,000 pieces of military equipment in the counterattack

Russian Defense Minister Shoigu stated on the 11th that since the 4th of last month, the Ukrainian armed forces have failed to fully achieve their goals in the so-called “counter-offensive” operations, and have lost more than 26,000 soldiers and more than 3,000 pieces of military equipment.

According to the TASS news agency, in the words of Shoigu, the Russian army destroyed 21 aircraft, 5 helicopters, 1,244 tanks and other types of armored vehicles during this period, including 17 German-made “Leopard” tanks and 5 French-made AMX tanks. -10 RC wheeled light tanks and 12 US-made “Bradley” combat vehicles.

The report also stated that Shoigu specifically mentioned the losses suffered by the Ukrainian artillery. He said: “I reiterate again that 403 (artillery) weapons (have been destroyed), including 43 American-made artillery and 46 self-propelled artillery from Poland, the United States and France.” Precision weapons strike enemy reserves and Western-supplied military equipment, thereby reducing the offensive potential of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to previous media reports, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the Ukrainian side began a “counter-offensive” on the 4th of last month, with actions in the direction of South Donetsk, Zaporozhye, and Artemovsk (called Bakhmut in Ukraine). But the firepower was concentrated in the direction of Zaporozhye.
